A. You should contact us for a free hearing evaluation first. You could just have a wax build-up or ear infection that has temporarily affected your hearing. If an ear, nose and throat specialist is needed, we will refer you to one right away.
Q. Hearing aids are unsightly. Don’t they almost always show?
A. Actually, so many advancements have been made in hearing aid technology that many people can wear one which is almost totally concealed within the ear. Not only are the new aids very small and discreet, but the technology behind them is so good, it’s practically made the old-style hearing aids obsolete. So, yes, you can enjoy fashion AND function in the same tiny apparatus!
Q. Aren’t hearing aids really expensive?
A. That’s a common misconception. Most quality hearing aids are well within the average person’s budget. (And, by the way, the hearing tests at Coastal Hearing Solutions don’t cost anything, either!)
Q. Will there be a trial period to test my hearing aid?
A. Of course, and after the trial period is over, there will never be a charge for further adjustments or minor repairs.

A. Since your hearing will change over time, your hearing aids will likely need some adjustments, servicing or minor repairs. There is never a charge for any of this when you buy a hearing aid from Coastal Hearing Solutions. A. Yes, we do. We want to ensure that you’re taken care of, even when the occasional repair is needed.

A. Hearing aids do just that — aid a person’s hearing They cannot restore function that has been lost. But they can help greatly to improve the hearing you do have, especially with the addition of auditory training.
